What CardWise stores
By default, your card wallet, valuations, cap logs, and quirks live in your browser's local storage on this device. Ranking runs in your browser — we do not need your bank login and we do not scrape your transactions.
Optional account sync
If you sign in, we store a wallet snapshot in our database (Supabase) so you can sync across devices. You can sign out anytime. We do not sell your wallet data.
Browser extension
The CardWise extension detects checkout-like pages and known merchants, optionally reads a visible order total from the page, and opens CardWise (side panel or tab) with a pre-filled purchase query. It does not send page contents to our servers. You can dismiss the chip per tab session and set the CardWise base URL in extension options.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic. It is not used to build advertising profiles of your card wallet.
